Manaka MUKAIDO

Manaka Mukaido is a middle school student who lives in the seaside town of Shioshishio. She is a kind and gentle girl who loves the sea and all its creatures. One day, she is chosen to be the priestess of the sea god, and she must travel to the sea god's palace to perform a ritual that will save the town from a terrible drought. Along the way, she meets a group of other teenagers who are also chosen to be priests and priestesses, and they must work together to complete the ritual. The journey is dangerous and challenging, but Manaka and her friends learn a lot about themselves and about the importance of protecting the sea.
